Miss Cyprus

I thought working on Cyprus would be easy, considering how simple the design of the flag was, but it still was somewhat challenging because of how I wanted the Sari set up.

I'm afraid I had to look up some things about the island, but it's an interesting country to visit, if you're touring the Mediterranean for a vacation . It's the 3rd-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.

I remember reading about its involvement in the later crusades, how Richard the Lionhearted owned it for a while. It appears the island has been inhabited by humans for over 12,000 years, and became independent of Great Britain in 1960. It's part of the European Union, and its culture is heavily influenced by Greece, its neighbor. But Cyprus is a unique country in and of itself, in spite of influences from other cultures.
