Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Description
This is my Jedi Sentinel, Kelaria. She's a fast-moving Jedi Knight that can wield two lightsabers instead of 1 . She's wearing a blindfold b/c she is a Miraluka (if u wanta read more about Kel, you can look at my first picture of her here: [link] ).
I saw this outfit on another Jedi player & HAD to have it . Nothing's more fun than playing up the "white knight" angle with a Jedi . (I especially like the cape ). It's called the Prototype Strategist Vest. I found it on the Galactic Trade Network, tho the cost was ridiculous for just the top , forget about the matching pants (which I got later on). I think each were about 14,000 credits. (Truth be told, tho, I've spent 3x as much creds on learning how to drive a speeder & then buying it ).
It was interesting when a player on Coruscant later asked me what I was doing wearing "epic" armor. I knew it was purple-quality (meaning that it's 1 level below orange--the best of the best equipment--and is moddable, but it nvr occurred to me that it was "epic.") I get the feeling this particular outfit was manufactured, & I wanted to learn how.
So now Kelaria does Synthweaving. It's a type of crafting where your character can make "armor" for force-users (AKA other Jedi). There's a similar craft called Armormech, where you can make armor for non-force-users, like Troopers & Smugglers.
Before Patch 1.2, it wasn't possible to mail objects or even to make items for characters from opposite factions & mail them (for example, a Jedi couldn't make robes for a Sith, or a Bounty Hunter couldn't make a gun for a Smuggler). However, because of the Legacy System, (where you can take all your characters & put them together in a "family tree,") you can now do that . (There are still a few limitations, of course; but still, crafting has gotten a lot easier in respect to providing for all your toons, no matter what their allegiance). So now it's not necessary to have more than 1 person making crystals for lightsabers/guns, or more than 1 character making armor just for their faction. You can have 1 of each .
On a final note, the little droid to the right of Kel is her version of T7-01. (My Jedi Guardian, Helicordia has him as a companion too since they're both Jedi Knights). Since I have more than 1 character with T7 as a friend, I have to be able to tell their little friends apart, so I made this T-7 blue. It's my fave customization b/c it makes him resemble R2-D2 more . T7-01 is actually a very ancient predecessor of our fave little droid from the movies. You can read more about him here: [link]

She's gorgeous. Sorry but still.
