Mom and Dad at the Renaissance Faire

This is based on a Polaroid taken of my parents when they visited a Renaissance Faire in Wisconsin. It was one of those places where you could dress up in costumes they had available & pose for the camera.

So dad was a viking (appropriate, considering our heritage), & mom was his "prized lady."

It's been a few years since I saw the picture, so I had to design the outfits from memory.

I would have put glasses on dad w/ beads, but he took them off for the picture. I didn't remember until AFTER I made the picture that dad had worn a mail hood under the viking hat; but I also realized that I couldn't have pulled it off w/ beads in the "Tudors" Scene-Maker b/c all I got are pearls & black beads, no gray stuff. So I'm leaving the picture as is.

It got 2 Crowns for Originality on Doll-Divine.
