This image is based on a painting Henry VIII apparently had done late in his reign; for it shows him as the heavy, older man we all know, as well as three people who were both dead and played an important role in his life.
At the top of the painting are his parents, Henry VII & Queen Elizabeth of York, who reigned at the start of the Tudor dynasty. Then Henry VIII & his dead third wife Jane Seymour are shown below the first Tudor couple.
After all those other gable-hood headdresses I've made, Jane's in this portrait was relatively easy, save for the black velvet fall behind her head. Once again I had to do the weird style of hers where one piece is folded up and pinned to the hood while the other hung freely.
I made this using the Tudors Scene-Maker www.dolldivine.com/the-tudors-…
