This image is based on a painting Henry VIII apparently had done late in his reign, for it shows him as the heavy, older man we all know, as well as 3 ppl who were both dead & played an important role in his life.
At the top of the painting are his parents, Henry VII & Queen Elizabeth of York, who reigned at the start of the Tudor dynasty. Then Henry VIII & his dead 3rd wife Jane Semour are shown below the first Tudor couple.
After all those other gable-hood headdresses I've made, Jane's in this portrait was relatively easy, save for the black velvet fall behind her head. Once again I had to do the weird style of hers where 1 piece is folded up & pinned to the hood while the other hung freely.
This version of Jane Seymour got 1 Crown for Accurate, 3 for Intricate, & 1 for Original on Doll-Divine.
