Anne's Pink and White Satin Dress

Description

I made this on the Tudors Scene-Maker while it was still being worked on. The moment I saw this circled pattern available for fabric designs, I could tell which outfit the artists got it from. It's one of Anne's casual outfits, as well as another re-used costume from an Elizabethan movie. She wears it w/out any chemise or ruffled collar, unlike what a lady during a later time period would wear.

Such a dress was unheard of in Tudor times. It simply was not fashionable for a woman to wear boring, straight sleeves, or run around w/out a head-covering of some sort on, unless she was a maiden (an unmarried young lady). Even then, when in public court areas, all ladies wore a head covering, regardless of marital status.
